Research Use Only Disclaimer

1. Scope and Acceptance

This Disclaimer applies to every product supplied by R10 Research and to all related product pages, descriptions, images, Certificates of Analysis, batch documentation, technical information, customer accounts, restricted website areas, orders and communications.

By creating a research account, completing the research-use acknowledgement, accessing restricted product information or placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this Disclaimer.

2. Permitted Use

All products are intended exclusively for legitimate in vitro laboratory research undertaken outside a living organism in an appropriate laboratory setting.

Products must not be consumed, ingested, injected, inhaled, applied to or administered to any person or animal. They must not be used for self-experimentation, clinical treatment, patient care, veterinary use, diagnosis, prevention or treatment of any disease or condition, cosmetic use, performance enhancement or any other personal, therapeutic or recreational purpose.

If you are not acquiring a product solely for legitimate in vitro laboratory research, you must not create an account, access restricted pricing or purchase from R10 Research.

3. Regulatory Status and No Therapeutic Claims

Unless expressly stated otherwise, products supplied by R10 Research are not included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods and have not been assessed or approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration for therapeutic safety, quality or effectiveness.

Describing a product as 'research use only' does not override any applicable Commonwealth, state or territory law. Each customer is responsible for determining whether the acquisition, possession, storage, handling and use of a product is lawful and for obtaining any approvals, licences, permits or institutional permissions required.

Nothing on our website or in any product description, Certificate of Analysis, scientific reference, email, social media post or other communication should be interpreted as a therapeutic claim or recommendation for human or animal use.

4. No Medical, Dosing or Administration Advice

R10 Research does not provide medical, pharmaceutical, therapeutic, veterinary, diagnostic or clinical advice. We do not provide dosage guidance, injection instructions, routes of administration, treatment protocols, cycling or stacking advice, or reconstitution guidance for human or animal administration.

Any laboratory preparation information provided applies only to legitimate in vitro research and must not be adapted or used for human or animal administration. Requests for prohibited advice may be refused.

5. Qualified Researcher and Account Acknowledgement

Products may only be acquired and handled by a person aged 18 years or older who is appropriately qualified, trained or experienced, has access to suitable laboratory facilities and procedures, understands the relevant hazards and is authorised to conduct the intended research.

Before completing account registration, you may be required to confirm the following or substantially similar acknowledgement:

“I am acquiring these products solely for in vitro laboratory research conducted by a qualified researcher and understand they are not for human or animal consumption. I have read and accept the Research Use Only Disclaimer.”

Your acknowledgement forms part of your agreement with R10 Research, and you must not complete it if your intended purpose is prohibited or any information you have provided is false or misleading.

Creating an account does not mean that R10 Research has independently verified or approved your qualifications, institution, research project or legal authority. You remain responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and that you satisfy all applicable requirements.

6. Product Information and Certificates of Analysis

Product specifications, batch information and Certificates of Analysis are provided for product identification, transparency and traceability only. They do not constitute therapeutic approval, medical advice or a representation that a product is sterile, injectable, clinically safe or suitable for human or animal use.

A Certificate of Analysis relates only to the identified product or batch. Customers are responsible for reviewing available documentation and independently determining whether a product is suitable for their lawful in vitro research.

Scientific publications, databases and third-party materials may be referenced for general research context only. R10 Research does not endorse third-party therapeutic claims or accept responsibility for how third-party information is interpreted or used.

7. Storage, Handling and Resupply

Products must be stored, handled and disposed of only by appropriately trained persons using suitable laboratory procedures. Customers are responsible for conducting appropriate risk assessments, using suitable protective equipment, preventing unauthorised access and complying with workplace health and safety and waste-disposal requirements.

You must not resell, transfer, distribute, relabel or otherwise supply a product where you know or reasonably suspect that it will be used for human or animal consumption, administration, therapeutic, cosmetic, veterinary, diagnostic or other prohibited purposes.

You must not remove, obscure, alter or falsify any research-use warning, product identification, batch information or other labelling supplied with a product.

R10 Research is not responsible for deterioration, contamination, damage or loss arising from improper storage, handling, transport or use after delivery, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Refusal, Suspension and Customer Responsibility

R10 Research may suspend or terminate an account, cancel an order or decline further supply where we reasonably believe that information provided is false or misleading, a product is intended for a prohibited purpose, prohibited advice has been requested, the customer has attempted to circumvent website controls or fulfilment presents a legal, safety, payment, security or operational risk.

The customer is responsible for accurately stating their research purpose, confirming their qualifications and authority, determining whether acquisition and possession are lawful, obtaining any required approvals, selecting appropriate products and preventing prohibited use, access, transfer or resupply.

9. Australian Consumer Law, Changes and Contact

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website with a revised 'Last updated' date.
